Our Psychiatry Services

At CPC, we offer a broad range of outpatient psychiatric services. A targeted combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat most mental health disorders. We also coordinate with your physician for continuity of care – and to ensure all your healthcare needs are being met.

Medication Management

When you or a loved one visits the psychiatry providers at CPC, one of the first things we do is assess your need for certain psychotherapeutic medications – as well as evaluate what you or your loved one may be taking now, with an eye toward ensuring your medications are as effective and streamlined as possible. Often, when patients are prescribed drugs by different doctors, the medications may be redundant or may even negatively interact with one another. Throughout your care with us, our providers will continue to monitor your progress under your prescribed medications and make adjustments as needed.

Psychotherapy

Considered the gold standard when it comes to mental health, we offer all types of psychotherapy, including individual, couples, family, and group counseling. Our skilled and compassionate psychiatric providers provide the guidance, perspective, and practical tools that many patients struggling with a mental health disorder need to achieve balance in their lives.

Support Groups

Interacting with others who have gone through similar problems can have a remarkable effect: it can make a patient feel less alone, improve interpersonal skills, and help keep patients motivated to manage their condition or stick to a treatment plan.

At CPC, we refer patients to all types of psychotherapy groups that offer education and support, including groups designed specifically to help with:

  • Anger management
  • Assertiveness
  • Emotional regulation
  • Medication education
  • Rehabilitation
  • Self-esteem
  • And much more
