DANIEL T. MEADOWS, JR., M.D.

Dr. Meadows is a board certified adult psychiatrist. Dr. Meadows graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in 1976. Dr. Meadows did a flexible internship with emphasis in medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center from 1976-1977, and completed his psychiatric residency training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in 1980. Dr. Meadows served two additional years in the Army and was on the faculty in psychiatry at Eisenhower Army Medical Center from 1981 to 1982. He then served on the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from1982 to 1984 where he was voted outstanding teacher by the psychiatric residents for the 1983-1984 school year. Dr. Meadows has been in private practice of psychiatry since 1984, and has special interest in biological psychiatry as well as religion and psychiatry

CLARK STILL, LPC

Clark Still is a master’s level licensed counselor.  Clark grew up in the Cullman area and graduated from Samford University with a B.S. in Secondary Education and from UAB with a Master of Arts in Counseling.   Clark is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in the field of counseling since 1995.  
Clark’s background includes extensive experience in the field of Mental Health as well as private practice in Christian-Based Professional Counseling since 2000.  He works with adults and adolescents dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, anger, marital/relationship conflict, family struggles, grief & loss, stress management, life transitions, self-esteem, and teen issues, among other issues.  Clark’s hope is to use his experience and education to provide compassionate professional care that meets the unique needs of each individual, couple, or family that he serves.    

KATHY TANNER, LCSW, PIP

Kathy Tanner is a Licensed Certified Social Worker who received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her Master’s of Social Work at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. After obtaining her master’s degree, Kathy completed the licensure requirements to practice psychotherapy in the state of Florida. She later moved to Birmingham and received her professional license to practice clinical social work in the state of Alabama as well. Throughout her professional experience, Kathy has provided individual, family, and group therapy services to adolescents, children, and adults. Her specialties include treatment for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention deficit disorder, sexual abuse, trauma, self-esteem, and/or addictions. She also has extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders. Kathy most often uses a behavioral and/or cognitive behavioral approach to therapy. However, other approaches are also used determined by the individual need of each patient. Kathy’s desire is to use her experiences and/or knowledge in providing the best possible care to her patients.
