OSTEOPOROSIS - The Silent Bone Thinner

Osteoporosis is called the "silent disease" because it doesn't produce symptoms until a bone breaks. It thins and weakens the bones making them extremely fragile and more likely to break at the hip, spine or wrist.

Postmenopausal or early menopause (before age 45)

Bone density tests can detect osteoporosis before a fracture occurs.

Predict your chances of fracturing in the future.

Determine your rate of bone loss
During the test the patient lies on a padded table while the unit scans the body. No injection or invasive procedure is involved.
The patient remains fully clothed.
